Provide businesses and managed service providers (MSPs) with exceptional compliance and security services that continuously meet and maintain each organization’s regulatory obligations. We safeguard all customers by quickly identifying vulnerabilities and providing proactive solutions to protect clients from all security threats and meet (their own unique) compliance requirements.
Choice CyberSecurity® spends every day solving our clients’ greatest obstacles in the increasingly complex world of security and compliance.
That’s why, in 2016, we knew it was time for the industry to stop “winging it.” It was time for an organization to step up and provide structured security services. And it was time for the father-daughter team of Steve and Alex Rutkovitz to develop an exclusive end-to-end security and compliance process — Assess. Address. Maintain.® — and create the Choice CyberSecurity® we are today.
We offer customizable, solutions to meet the needs of our MSP partners and their clients:
With over 20 years of experience in the managed services industry, specializing in regulatory compliance-specific technology, Steve’s unique, proactive approach to managed services gives him the edge you need to differentiate your business and protect your organization in today’s world of cyber threats, attacks, and hacks.
Focused solely on security and compliance, Steve is known throughout the industry as being uniquely qualified due to his deep understanding of networking, hardware, and over 25 different compliances. Steve has used his broad range of expertise to provide strategic design and consulting services for a wide range of companies throughout various industries worldwide.
With a strong background in IT risk assessments and customer service, Alex oversees all Choice CyberSecurity® risk assessments and company operations. She also excels at project communication, strategic planning, systems analysis, and results tracking.
Additionally, her technology expertise makes Alex highly knowledgeable in regulatory compliance requirements, network infrastructures, compliance policies, procedures, and security awareness training. Alex earned her Management Information Systems degree from Drexel University’s Lebow College of Business.
Anicia’s strong legal background and extensive knowledge of a wide range of regulatory compliances, policies, and procedures help Choice CyberSecurity® to better serve our clients.
She has experience with remediating regulatory issues within organizations of all sizes, as well as a broad understanding of foreign regulatory compliance expectations. Anicia earned her Master of Paralegal Studies from The George Washington University after completing her Bachelors of Science in Legal Studies and Political Science from Towson University.
Most days, you can find Alex’s dog, Roofus, in our office. You’ll see him lounging, chilling, and protecting everyone’s interests.
Steve Rutkovitz founded Choice Technologies as a VAR in 1995. In 2007 it became an MSP and in 2009 security and compliance services were introduced, propelling the company’s transformation into an MSSP in 2012.
Because there was no structured approach to security and compliance within the SMB market—which still holds true today. And because our clients had, and have, justifiable concerns over increasing security threats, government compliance audits, and mandates from regulatory bodies (e.g., HIPAA and PCI), Steve realized it was time for the industry to stop “winging it.”
In 2016 Choice CyberSecurity® (CCS) was born to step up to the industry’s challenges, and provide structured security and compliance services that MSPs wanted and their clients needed and deserved.
Today, Choice CyberSecurity® continues to evolve based on each new technology that’s introduced, each new threat to security that must be overcome, and each new regulatory compliance mandate that must be met by the clients we serve.
Industry-leading Risk Assessments to evaluate each clients’ unique vulnerabilities with a “360°-view” of network security and regulatory compliance gaps.
Maintain Security & Regulatory Compliance Goals with proactive products and services that keep you from falling behind in a constantly changing environment.
Achieve ultimate peace of mind no matter how threats and regulations evolve.
